Role Description

The Climate Scorecard Country Manager for Australia is a part-time remote position. The Manager will be tasked with researching climate change and sustainability policies specific to Australia, developing reports and content, and contributing to Climate Scorecard's initiatives to track and influence progress toward the Paris Agreement goals. Responsibilities include data collection, policy analysis, collaboration with the global Climate Scorecard team, and engaging stakeholders to amplify climate action efforts. Additionally, the Manager will communicate findings and updates through reports, articles, and other creative mediums to raise awareness and inspire action.

Qualifications

• Strong research and analytical skills, with an understanding of climate change policy and sustainable development
• Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills for preparing reports, articles, and communications materials
• Must live and work in AustraLIA

• Familiarity with the Paris Agreement and global climate initiatives is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field; graduate degree preferred
