Compensation: Ranges from $80,000 to $120,000

As we continue to grow, we are looking for A Players to add to our growing team of Energy Professionals. Our philosophy is that we can train anyone with the right attitude, big dreams and the ability to follow through. Our Veteran ECC Raters mostly all started without any knowledge of the industry, but they are now experts in their field and key team players who carry out courteous, prompt and ethical ECC Ratings while continuing to pursue additional licenses and certifications.

Summary of Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site inspections of residential buildings to assess energy efficiency and ensure compliance with Title 24 energy codes.
- Conduct diagnostic tests, including blower door tests and duct leakage tests, to evaluate building performance.
- Maneuver through multiple apps & databases to provide detailed documentation on inspection findings.
- Communicate inspection results and recommend energy-saving measures to contractors.
- Stay updated on California energy codes, standards, and best practices in energy efficiency.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain ECC Rater certification.
- Ensure all documentation and reporting meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of energy efficiency programs and initiatives.
- Drive to pick up or pay for permits in multiple locations, answer phones, mail permits, send emails.
- Opportunities to travel throughout California and additional states.
- Any other responsibilities as assigned to uphold Energuy's core values and vision.
Learning/Training Milestone:
HVAC And Title 24: 30 days of apprenticeship/in field training
Home Energy Score : 30-90 days
Advanced Testing: 90-180 days
Other licenses and certifications as required
Qualifications:
Experience: Drivers license with good driving record + 5 years of licensed driving experience (required), stable job history, HVAC experience is a plus
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Characteristics: Dependable team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong inclination to learn, exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Physical ability to do all aspects of the job.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm & 11:00am-7:00pm (overtime + weekends as needed)
