Carbon & Climate Change Consultant - Aviation

Location: Bristol

Salary: Competitive

An established UK environmental consultancy is hiring a Carbon and Climate Change Consultant with aviation experience to support major airport and infrastructure projects.

This is hands-on consultancy work. You'll be delivering carbon and climate change assessments for airport expansion, planning applications, and ongoing carbon management, alongside wider EIA and infrastructure work.

What you'll do

  • Deliver carbon and climate change assessments for aviation projects
  • Produce GHG inventories and EIA chapters
  • Advise on emissions reduction targets and net zero alignment
  • Support climate risk and resilience assessments
  • Work directly with airports, engineers, planners, and regulators
  • Write clear technical reports for non-technical audiences

What they want

  • Experience or strong understanding of the aviation sector
  • Knowledge of UK and international climate policy
  • EIA and major infrastructure project experience
  • Consultancy background
  • Strong data analysis and report-writing skills
  • Ability to manage work independently and meet deadlines

Desirable: MSc or higher in a relevant discipline, professional membership.
