Company Description

The Climate Project Foundation is the independent India & South Asia branch of The Climate Reality Project. Established in 2008 with support from TERI, it operates as a trust based in Mumbai. The organization focuses on spreading awareness about climate change through initiatives like the Green Campus Program, which works with educational institutes to promote sustainability. TCPF supports over 1500 trained Climate Reality Leaders and approximately 1000 volunteers across the country, developing educational content and collaborating with partners to strengthen India's Paris Agreement commitments.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager - Fundraising located in Delhi, India. The Manager - Fundraising will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, building and maintaining relationships with donors, preparing grant proposals and reports, and planning and coordinating fundraising events. The individual will also be responsible for managing donor databases, conducting research on potential donors, and working closely with the communications team to create fundraising campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising, grant writing, and donor relationship management
  • Strong project management and event planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using donor management software and databases
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience in the non-profit sector or environmental field is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Non-profit Management, or related field
