Finance and Accounting Manager
The Climate and Clean Energy Equity Fund is a trusted intermediary funder dedicated to advancing equitable climate action and clean energy policies. Collaborating with community-based organizations across 13 states, the Equity Fund pairs financial support with policy expertise and narrative strategies to empower multiracial, working-class communities. The team of organizers, communicators, and strategists is focused on delivering equitable climate progress, transforming public perspectives on climate change, and fostering political action for impactful and sustainable policies. Together, they work to secure a just and equitable future for everyone.
This is a full-time remote role for a Finance and Accounting Manager. The responsibilities include overseeing financial statements, managing financial reporting and budgeting processes, and performing financial analyses to support strategic decision-making. The Finance and Accounting Manager will ensure accurate and transparent financial operations and contribute to the financial strategy and overall management of the organization.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements
- Strong knowledge of finance principles and excellent analytical skills
- Experience in financial reporting and budgeting processes
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and financial tools
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
