Trainer - Kids and Youth Programs

Experience Level: 2–3 Years
The Brown Network is establishing a national roster of Environmental Education Facilitators to support the delivery of child-focused environmental awareness and sustainability trainings across schools and community settings in Pakistan. Selected candidates will be onboarded into a facilitator pool and engaged as projects are rolled out city-wise, based on program needs, availability, and regional access.
- Deliver interactive, age-appropriate environmental training sessions for children (approx. ages 8–18)
- Facilitate activity-based and experiential learning, including:
- Group discussions and games
- Creative and practical environmental exercises
- Simple school or community-based projects
- Support thematic modules such as:
- Climate change awareness and environmental responsibility
- Waste management, recycling & plastic reduction
- Water conservation and hygiene
- Energy efficiency and sustainable daily habits
- Nature protection and community stewardship
- Adapt sessions to local contexts and age groups
- Coordinate with The Brown Network’s program coordinator and local partners
- Document basic session outcomes and participation
- Follow child safeguarding, ethical conduct, and facilitation protocols
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in delivering environmental education / youth programs; teaching, training, facilitation, or community engagement
- Academic background in Environmental Sciences, Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related fields
- Comfortable working with children and adolescents
- Strong communication skills (Urdu & other Local Language required; English preferred)
- Energetic, patient, and facilitation-oriented mindset
- Ability to work on a call-based / project-based schedule
- Roster-based, project-specific contracts
- Engagement depends on program rollout and city-wise scheduling
