Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:
  • Proficient in data analysis using Excel, SQL, Python, or R, with the ability to integrate and analyze data from BAS, utility meters, and IoT sensors for performance optimization.
  • In-depth understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS), particularly Siemens Desigo CC, including programming, control sequences, and scripting.
  • Ability to interpret diagnostic and trend data to identify inefficiencies and recommend or implement optimized control strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy custom control logic and automation routines to improve HVAC and building system performance.
  • Familiarity with energy management principles such as load profiles, peak demand control, and utility rate structures.
  • Ability to automate data tasks, queries, and report generation, and clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelors degree in a related field or 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced understanding of Siemens Desigo CC Building Automation System, including complex programming, graphic interface customization, and high-level troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC optimization strategies, advanced energy management techniques, and complex control sequences.
  • Advanced data analytics skills using SQL, Python, R, and enterprise-level BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for predictive modeling and optimization.
  • Ability to design, program, and optimize custom, adaptive control strategies in BAS platforms for peak demand reduction, load shifting, and energy cost avoidance.
Job Description:

The primary purpose of this Control Data Systems Analyst position is to manage and analyze data from the Building Automation System (BAS) to optimize energy performance. This position involves programming HVAC zones, implementing Energy Conservation Day schedules, and utilizing Desigo software for system adjustments and enhancements. The analyst supports energy efficiency initiatives through data-driven insights and direct system programming.

Job Duties:
  • Program, adjust, and optimize Building Automation System (BAS) zones and settings.
  • Implement special programming, such as Energy Conservation Day schedules.
  • Diagnose and resolve control logic, system integration, or data connectivity issues in collaboration with IT and Facilities.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze energy and building performance data from BAS, utility meters, and IoT sensors.
  • Provide BAS meter data setup, programming, and graphic interfaces on an ongoing basis for BMS.
  • Collaborate on network or server issues impacting BAS and metering systems.
  • Provide technical summaries and reports for management, stakeholders, and project teams.
