Roofing / Solar Installer

We are seeking an energetic and safety-conscious Solar Panel Roof Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and replacing solar panels on roofs, contributing to the growth of renewable energy.

We start folks in this role between $18-$22/hr for a 90-day evaluation then we adjust pay to match skills.

Training will be provided, but we prefer candidates with experience working on roofs. Additionally, some basic electrical experience is a plus as you will need to be able to obtain an electrical apprentice license through TDLR (Texas Dpt. of Licensing and Regulation). We will also have you work towards OSHA 10 - we will get you certified with this.

Responsibilities:

• Install solar panels on various types of roofs, following project plans and industry standards.
• Remove and replace damaged or faulty solar panels as needed.
• Work with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain and clean tools and equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors and clients to address any issues or concerns.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials at job sites.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working on roofs is a must - most of the work we do is on a roof and people must be comfortable with being on roofs to be successful.
• Some electrical experience is preferred.

Additional Info:

• Guaranteed 40 hours a week
• Travel is sometimes required for work, we cover food and loggings.
• Pay is re-evaluated after a 90-day introductory period
• After 6 months we have additional pay options.
