Used Car Manager is a demanding position which requires the flexibility to adapt, the drive to achieve against difficult odds, and a forward-thinking nature to anticipate trends, and to be ahead of the curve. As a leader in Tesla’s Used Car business, you are responsible for the sales process, managing used vehicle delivery performance and operations, and providing exceptional customer experience.


What You'll Do
  • Responsible for driving sales metrics (sales volume, close rate, advisor efficiency, and others as business needs change).
  • Lead, manage, and grow a team of motivated and effective Used Car Advisors.
  • Work cross-functionality with the other organizations within Tesla (Sales, Marketing, Delivery, Charging, Finance teams) to ensure workflows are the best available.
  • Engage field teams to support expansion of used sales.
  • Participate in testing of new, updated and innovative processes.
  • Communicate data-based performance metrics in team meetings and as needed by the business.
  • Resolve issues related to website and customer experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalations as needed.

What You'll Bring
  • BA/BS, or equivalent preferred.
  • Management experience leading a team of people preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to resolve critical problems quickly and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, according to activity volume.
  • Ability to work across multiple systems.
