What to Expect
Tesla is looking for a highly-motivated TPM to optimize and grow our total manufacturing process of our cutting-edge Model 3 & Y Powertrain at Gigafactory Nevada, outside Lake Tahoe/Reno, Nevada. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Tesla’s world class manufacturing facility in Nevada. Tesla is a demanding and fast-paced environment where you will work on critical subsystems of an incredibly exciting product.
What You’ll Do
  • Developing “the plan” with regards to optimizing factory and product line performance, including but not limited to performance optimization, capacity expansion, new line ramp into full production, etc.
  • Driving accountability regarding project & program milestones, key initiatives, and project success criteria
  • Coordinating with variety of cross-functional stakeholders to track execution of projects: production operations, engineering functions, finance & accounting, material & production planning, design teams, etc.
  • Distilling many inputs into few: delivering world-class decision support for senior leaders and executives
  • Membership in an integrated Industrial Engineering & TPM work unit supporting a product or program (examples: drive unit, energy products, etc.)
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a mix of engineering and project management fields
  • Exemplary project management, people, organizational, and escalation skills
  • Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Track record of excellence in current and prior roles, demonstrable with metrics or KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation, summarization, etc
  • Able to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
