Tesla Infrastructure team is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Operations Coordinator to support our mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. In this role, you will work closely with the O&M Manager on CMMS implementation, work order management, procurement, and spare parts inventory, ensuring compliance with KPIs and operational efficiency. You will also handle administrative tasks, audits, financial tracking, and reporting, while maintaining accurate documentation for a first-of-its-kind battery facility
- Support the O&M Manager in the implementation of the Computerized Maintenance Management System, including the development and tracking of KPIs and performance dashboards
- Oversee the Work Order system, update Preventive Maintenance schedules, and support manpower resource planning during project commissioning to ensure efficient operations
- Coordinate procurement, setup, and inventory management of spare parts, ensuring proper identification, cataloging, and compliance with inventory levels based on feedback from vendors, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Conduct regular audits—quarterly, semiannual, and annual—of all spare parts and inventory, maintaining an up-to-date fixed asset register
- Collaborate with facilities management, engineering, and O&M teams to manage the routing and processing of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, ensuring timely delivery to the Finance & Project Controls teams
- Monitor and track all facilities-related expenses, providing accurate financial documentation and cost tracking to ensure budget adherence
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive technical library, including blueprints, service manuals, technical documents, and other critical references for ongoing operations and maintenance
- Experience in administrative support roles especially with procurement processes, ideally from Manufacturing environment background
- Ability to create KPI dashboards and charts working with Data Engineers
- Strong Inventory, Financial and Budget Management Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs: Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint & CMMS systems
- Self-directed – able to work towards specific goals and objectives with limited oversight
- Open-minded, adaptable, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Skilled at multitasking and thriving in fast-paced settings with strong communication skills
