What to Expect

Tesla is looking for a CSA Construction Project Manager to work on large scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-Construction project that requires exceptional talent. Our product portfolio is expanding with never-built-before production lines. The CSA Project Manager will lead an internal self-perform group of Carpenters to construct the SEMI production facility. The position is located in Sparks, NV.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead a team consisting of Project Coordinators, Buyers, Superintendents, and craft
  • Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and companywide
  • Conduct constructability reviews of design packages
  • Identify project risks and opportunities and actively manage through-out the project life cycle
  • Interface with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and commissioning teams
  • Ensure all RFI’s are incorporated into final Record drawings at project close-out
  • Ensure Change Control Management is adhered to for all new scope of work
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects
  • Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, and Architectural, Mechanical, electrical, life safety and controls scopes
  • Ability to read and interpret Civil, Structural and Architectural Drawings
  • Proficiency in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance and variance analysis
  • Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
