What to Expect What You’ll Bring
Construction project coordinators focus on the administrative aspects of projects at Tesla. They ensure that tasks are completed on time, facilitate communication between team members, and track progress. This role will oversee multiple construction projects from conception to completion.
What You’ll Do- Owns construction team communications and reporting
- Liaison between Engineering Program Managers, Construction Managers, and Superintendents
- Creates and tracking workflows (submittals, work approvals, RFIs)
- Owns RFI/submittal Logs & sets priorities
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation of vendors and contractors
- Collects of information from all team members into unified work space
- Reviews Schedules for accuracy & verifies field team updates look aheads; reviews daily updates from Lead PM's & adds construction metrics
- Degree in Construction Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent computer skills and comprehension of MS Office & Primavera products
- Highly organized and able to set construction priorities
- Strong written & verbal communication skills. Will be tasked with highly confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and anticipate last minute changes
