In this internship, you will be part of the Project & Performance Management team in Giga Berlin. You will work together with various stakeholders from different teams, such as Operations, Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance, Quality, Finance, and IT. This is an exciting and demanding position that requires entrepreneurial, communicative, and hands-on skills to support the continuous improvement of our key Manufacturing KPIs.

You will excel in this internship if you already have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to interpret data, and can identify improvements in the context of our business stakeholders. We are looking for a person with a curious mind who is motivated, proactive, and eager to learn something new daily.

Join our team in Grünheide, Brandenburg, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the Model Y's manufacturing process, from component production to final assembly. Witness firsthand how the various parts come together to form a complete vehicle in one of the world's most advanced factories.


What You'll Do
  • Manage multidisciplinary factory projects in a fast-paced environment and be the interface to (senior) stakeholders from different organizational units.

  • Translate different requirements from stakeholders into project scope, define responsibilities, and proactively identify necessary technical and digital-related gaps for projects.

  • Make independent decisions on project planning, coordinate implementation, and ensure the transfer of information within the team.

  • Generate presentation content for project status updates, execute data analysis for KPI metrics, perform data accuracy checks, and validations.


What You'll Bring
  • Currently studying a university degree in engineering or business administration domain with technical interest; a master’s degree is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills in English are a must; German is a big plus.

  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, tactical thinking, and time management skills.

  • Proven record of out-of-the-box thinking, rapid adaptability to business needs, a can-do and hands-on mindset, fast learning abilities, and the flexibility to thrive in ambiguous environments.

  • A formidable team player with high reliability and a good sense of confidentiality.

  • Remain engaged and positive in tough circumstances with high level of ownership.

  • Knowledge and experience in automotive or other manufacturing environments and project management.

  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SQL and Python) for data analytics is a plus.
