We are the Quality Data Lab, central to the data science and analytics efforts at Giga Berlin. You will be supporting our team in day-to-day business tasks by preparing presentations, workshops and coding task. You will also assist with the development of dashboards and ETL pipelines, code deployment, and be part of problem-solving efforts. Our fast-paced, multicultural environment provides opportunities for data science, analytics and engineering in the manufacturing domain, no matter where your passion lies.
What You'll Do
- Getting an impression of how to build a Datalab and how to manage data projects
- Getting involved in coding and developing ETL pipelines so that you can further improve your coding skills
- Work with stakeholders to take a vague problem statement, refine the scope of the analysis, and use the results to drive informed decisions
- Creating meaningful visualizations and preparing presentations
- Assisting in designing, the development and the deployment of data-driven solutions
- You will work in close collaboration with other team members on complex problem solving and coding tasks
What You'll Bring
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL
- Experience writing software in a professional environment
- Experience building data visualizations and dashboards (Dash, plotly, matplotlib, panel…)
- Strong problem-solving skills to help refine problem statements and figure out how to solve them with the available data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Clearly documenting your work is key.
- Smart but humble, with a bias for action
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple tasks at hand
Nice to have
- Strong foundation in statistics and machine learning
- Experience building machine learning models in a professional environment
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous development
- Experience in devops, i.e. Docker, Kubernetes
