What to Expect
What You’ll Bring
Responsible for supporting the Payroll team, analyzing and resolving inquiries for approximately 50,000 employees within US, Canada and Mexico. Performs duties that require an understanding of company payroll policies and procedures with a strong level of customer service.
What You’ll Do This role will be based in Fremont, California and is an in-office position. Schedule is 10AM - 6:30PM; Monday - Friday.
- Provides knowledgeable support to employees and Payroll team on all payroll related questions
- Provide backup processing and reporting support to the Payroll team · Backup new hire setup tasks
- Answer in person inquiries at the Answer Bar in a face-to-face environment
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems in a timely manner
- Provide professional responses to Ticketing system, telephone calls, email and personnel requests for system and payroll inquiries
- Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution
- Process, review, and distribute key payroll reports
What You’ll Bring
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred
- 3+ year’s recent hands-on US multi states payroll experience required
- Knowledge of Kronos, UKG Pro, Professional HR Systems strongly preferred
- Exposure to a high volume, and multi-task work environment required
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills required
- Detail oriented, strong analytical skills, ability to detect inconsistencies in data, and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Some experience with audit procedures is preferred
Compensation and Benefits
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$23.20 - $40.80/hour, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
