Fixed Cost Optimization Project Manager, Supply Chain

What to Expect

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Cost Optimization Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives in packaging procurement, construction procurement, and facilities management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving cost reduction projects in these areas, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.


What You'll Do
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to achieve cost savings targets in packaging procurement, construction procurement, and facilities management
  • Analyze data to identify areas of cost savings in packaging, construction, and facilities management, and develop business cases to support cost reduction initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to identify and prioritize cost-saving opportunities in packaging, construction, and facilities management
  • Develop and implement process improvements to achieve cost reduction goals in packaging, construction, and facilities management, including packaging design optimization, construction process improvement, and energy efficiency initiatives
  • Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to achieve cost reductions, improve quality, and ensure on-time delivery in packaging and construction procurement
  • Develop and implement standardization initiatives to reduce complexity and costs in packaging, construction, and facilities management
  • Communicate project plans, progress, and results to stakeholders, including senior leadership, through regular reports and presentations
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and report on cost savings achieved in packaging, construction, and facilities management


What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience in packaging procurement, construction procurement, or facilities management
  • Proven track record of driving cost reduction projects in contracted services and having facilities management, with excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience analyzing financial data and developing business cases, and effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with cost optimization tools and techniques, such as lean, six sigma, or total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, and ability to lead and motivate project team members
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred, with experience working in a similar industry or company size, and skills in data analytics tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI

Expected Compensation

$68,000 - $150,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
