We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to install, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems at Gigafactory Texas. The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of fire safety regulations, technical expertise, and a commitment to high-quality service. This role offers opportunities for growth in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do- Perform routine maintenance, service, and inspections of wet, dry, and pre-action fire suppression systems, including repairs and testing
- Conduct flow testing of fire pumps and hydrants, and test backflow prevention devices (preferred)
- Install, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler systems in compliance with codes and standards
- Document fire sprinkler systems and related devices using handheld devices
- Engage in manual labor tasks such as lifting, climbing, and cleanup, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Interact professionally with customers, maintaining strong relationships while providing excellent service
- Work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating organization, motivation, and the ability to follow directions
- Fire Sprinkler Technician certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation and maintenance
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and perform tasks safely
- Valid Drives License required
- Willingness to work flexible hours and stay current with industry training
