Please note: In order to be considered, you must be enrolled in education for the full duration of the internship.
The Lease Administration team at Tesla is responsible for managing the worldwide lease portfolio. The team has an immense impact on the company’s bottom line by monitoring, reviewing and challenging the billings from Landlords and taxing authorities. The team is also responsible for disseminating the lease information into the company database which is relied upon by many cross-functional partners. The Lease Administration intern will be based in our Amsterdam office, helping to support our EMEA team to ensure the accuracy of the in the region.

What You’ll Do
Your main responsibility will be to collaborate directly with your Lease Administration counterpart to provide a critical review of the data and documents contained in the company database. This will also require cross-functional communication with our Real Estate and Finance teams. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Abstract all parking information into TRT database
  • Breakdown responsibility of Tesla / Landlord for SFO (facilities) team
  • Update all landlord contact information

For each Tesla location confirm the following:

  • Fully executed lease documents and agreements
  • Translation of all documents saved as searchable PDFs in TRT database and named with set nomenclature
  • Record of where the originals are located (in some countries this is important as we have to return a hard copy lease)
  • Abstract the lease into TRT database (recheck every lease and flag any errors)
  • Verify the rent section is correctly completed
  • Ensure we have an up-to-date Bank Guarantee overview and copies of documents on file

What You’ll Bring
  • Currently enrolled in Finance, Accounting, Construction or any other related fields
  • Level C1 English (written and spoken) and business acumen
  • Ability to organize and follow tight schedule to support Lease Administration
  • Very pro-active, good organization and planning skills
  • Self-motivated and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasking and demanding environment
