Sr. Product Manager, Megapack, Energy Management Software (Palo Alto)

We are seeking an experienced and driven Software Product Manager to lead the development and commercialization of software applications enabling customers and partners to monitor, control, and maintain Megapack systems. In this role, you will define a compelling vision, drive a multiquarter roadmap, and deliver scalable, global solutions that accelerate the adoption of sustainable energy.
This position requires a combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a strong ability to collaborate across teams. Experience in software product management, software development, and the renewable energy sector will set you apart. The Industrial Product team oversees the hardware, software, firmware, and services powering industrial energy products.
What You'll Do
- Define Vision & Strategy: Set the direction for utilityscale asset management software, aligning with company objectives.
- Market Research & Discovery: Conduct market analysis, gather competitive intelligence, and gather insights through customer interviews and feedback.
- Roadmap Prioritization: Create business cases, define product requirements, and prioritize features to meet market and customer needs.
- Collaborative Development: Work alongside worldclass engineers and professionals to design and deliver Megapack software solutions.
- Standardized Solutions: Define offerings that scale efficiently and meet diverse customer demands globally.
- Technical Enablement: Develop technical content such as manuals, application notes, and marketing collateral to support both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Education & Advocacy: Educate internal teams, customers, and partners on critical product features and best practices.
- TechnoEconomic Optimization: Assess and enhance Megapack offerings through modeling and capability assessments.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with global sales teams to ensure successful project contracting and deployment.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine processes and enhance operational efficiency.
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in software product management.
- Understanding of critical functions of Energy Management Systems.
- Familiarity with utilities, IPPs, and largescale energy developers and their operational needs.
- Deep understanding of software development processes, tools, and best practices.
- Blend of technical and commercial expertise, with strong analytical and decisionmaking skills.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and collaboration with engineering on designing cuttingedge applications.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong passion for advancing renewable energy and grid transformation.
- Proactive mindset with a bias for action, leveraging industry knowledge and customer insights to drive improvements.

Expected compensation: $128,000 $228,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on location, jobrelated knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
