Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Onitsha, responsible for leading Tesflow Energy’s overall technology vision and execution. The CTO oversees the design, development, and implementation of software and technology solutions that support solar financing, energy management, and operational efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing technology architecture, managing development teams, prioritizing product roadmaps, and ensuring that IT systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals. The CTO collaborates closely with senior leadership to define technology strategy, supports project delivery across engineering and product teams, and evaluates new tools and platforms for renewable energy solutions. This role also involves mentoring technical staff, establishing best practices, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry and data protection standards.

Qualifications
- Strong background in Software Development and Architecture, with experience designing and delivering scalable, secure technology solutions.
- Proven experience in Project Management, including leading cross-functional teams, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to define and execute IT Strategy that aligns with organizational goals and supports business growth.
- Expertise in Product Development, particularly in technology-enabled services or platforms, preferably within energy, fintech, or related sectors.
- Advanced leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in renewable energy, solar solutions, or emerging markets is highly beneficial.
