Interconnection Specialist (FL - Miami)

We're Hiring | Interconnection Specialist

At Terra Energy, we're looking for an Interconnection Specialist who is passionate about renewable energy and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

In this role, you'll play a critical part in bringing solar and energy storage projects to life by managing the entire interconnection process, from application submission to Permission to Operate (PTO). You'll work closely with utilities, customers, engineering, and project teams to ensure projects move forward efficiently, compliantly, and on schedule.

What you'll do:

• Manage the full interconnection lifecycle for solar and energy storage projects.
• Prepare, submit, and track utility interconnection applications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with utilities and coordinate directly with customers for FPL applications.
• Maintain accurate documentation, agreements, reporting, and compliance records.
• Identify and resolve interconnection challenges while proactively minimizing project delays.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes and support project success.
