We are seeking a Director, Digital & Data to Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) to lead and develop the company’s digital, data and technology capabilities during a major transformation phase. TVO is modernising its system landscape, operating models and use of data to strengthen value creation, operational excellence and long‑term lifecycle economics of nuclear power generation.


In this role, you will take a leading position in moving digital and IT capabilities from a traditional cost‑center mindset into a value‑driven enabler for the business. You will act as a strategic partner to executive management, combining clear strategic ownership with hands‑on leadership in a complex, safety‑critical and highly regulated operating environment.


The role is a member of the CFO management team and reports to the CFO.


Key elements of the role include:


  • Own and lead TVO’s end‑to‑end digital and data transformation, turning digital capabilities, data platforms and AI into measurable business value
  • Define and develop the digital and data operating model aligned with the core value streams: Production, Outages, Asset Management and Equipment Reliability
  • Govern the enterprise digital and data portfolio: prioritise, sequence and steer multi‑year investment programs based on value, including ERP, data platforms and operational digitalization
  • Strengthen governance, decision making and performance measurement, shifting from project delivery to product and value‑centric lifecycle ownership
  • Ensure secure, scalable and compliant IT/OT, data and platform foundations meeting nuclear grade safety, cybersecurity and regulatory requirements
  • Drive the data and AI strategy across analytics, automation and predictive capabilities with clear accountability for ROI and realised benefits
  • Lead and develop digital, data, architecture and cybersecurity leaders, clarifying responsibilities between value creation and value enablement
  • Act as a key digital and data partner to executive management, business directors and value stream leaders


We hope that you are:


  • A senior digital and technology leader ready to step beyond traditional IT management into an enterprise-wide value creation and transformation role
  • Experienced in leading large‑scale digital, data or ERP‑driven transformations in complex, asset intensive and preferably regulated environments
  • Strong in portfolio governance, operating model design and value based steering, able to translate strategy into executable roadmaps
  • Comfortable at the intersection of business, technology, data, cybersecurity and regulation, with a clear understanding of lifecycle economics
  • Proven in leading multidisciplinary expert teams through change across digital delivery, data and AI, architecture and cybersecurity
  • Fluent in English with Finnish at a professional working level
  • Holding a relevant Master’s degree in engineering, information systems, business or a comparable field
  • Familiarity with energy, industrial operations, long cycle assets or safety critical environments is a strong advantage

Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) is a Finnish energy company that produces electricity at the Olkiluoto nuclear power plant in Eurajoki.
