Responsibilities

As an intern in Sustainability Management, you will become an integral part of TeamViewer’s ESG & Sustainability function. You will support the development and implementation of key sustainability initiatives and gain hands-on experience in how a global tech company drives its environmental and social impact. This role is ideal for students who want to deepen their practical experience in corporate sustainability, ESG reporting, and climate strategy.

  • Drive sustainability initiatives: Support the team in implementing effective ESG strategies and programs across the organization.
  • Coordinate ESG meetings & workshops: Take ownership in preparing, facilitating, and following up on sustainability-related meetings, workshops, and cross-functional working sessions.
  • Contribute to climate action: Help identify and execute opportunities that support TeamViewer’s climate targets aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
  • Monitor ESG trends: Conduct market screenings to identify emerging ESG trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in the software and tech industry.
  • Support ESG reporting: Assist in preparing qualitative and quantitative sustainability reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enable internal communication: Contribute to internal communication on ESG activities to raise awareness and promote engagement.

Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in a degree program in sustainability management, environmental sciences, business, or a related field (all genders).
  • Ideally, you have completed at least five semesters and gained initial practical experience through internships, projects, or student work.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and verbal.
  • You bring a strong sustainability mindset and genuine enthusiasm for ESG, climate action, and corporate responsibility.
  • Knowledge of ESG-related frameworks (e.g., SBTi, EU Taxonomy, SASB, CSRD) is a plus.
  • You have strong organizational abilities, a structured and detail-oriented working style, and solid communication skills.
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic team environment and approach tasks proactively with a hands-on mindset.

What We Offer

  • Contract location would be Göppingen, Germany

  • Our Working Students in Germany receive a monthly salary of €1,566 for a 20-hour/week contract, €1,253 for a 16-hour/week contract, and €1,400 for an internship position.
