About the Role

As we look to the future, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive our utility-scale PV module business in Spain. This role will develop strategic relationships with local IPPs, leading EPCs, project developers, and other key customers, helping to deliver sales growth, secure long-term partnerships, and expand our presence in the Spanish utility-scale solar market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive utility-scale PV module sales and business development across the Spanish market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key IPPs, leading EPCs, project developers, and other strategic customers.
  • Build a qualified project pipeline, secure long-term framework agreements, and achieve annual sales targets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including opportunity identification, tender participation, commercial negotiation, contract execution, and payment collection.
  • Monitor market trends, project activity, customer demand, and the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal technical, commercial, legal, and supply chain teams to ensure effective project delivery and customer satisfaction.


Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in the solar PV industry, including a minimum of three years in utility-scale sales or business development in Spain.
  • Proven track record of closing PV module supply contracts for large-scale solar projects.
  • Strong understanding of utility-scale project development, tendering processes, procurement practices, and customer decision-making structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic accounts, lead commercial negotiations, and deliver sales targets.
  • Native-level Spanish and fluent English.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote, international environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • An established network among Spanish IPPs, leading EPCs, utility-scale developers, and renewable energy investment funds.
  • Previous experience with a leading international PV module manufacturer.
  • Based in Madrid or the surrounding area.

  • Frequent domestic and international travel is required.
