LCA Manager - Remote

We are seeking a driven and mission led LCA Manager to lead its Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) strategy across agricultural and food value chains.
The Role
In this role, you will take full ownership of the methodologies, data integrity, and quality standards that sit behind all footprinting delivered to customers and auditors. You will translate complex LCA and PCF requirements into scalable, reliable processes and tools, working closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure scientific rigour is embedded throughout the platform.
Core responsibilities:
- Own and develop LCA/PCF methodology (ISO 14040/44, ISO 14067, GHG Protocol Product Standard) for agri/food value chains.
- Define system boundaries, functional units, allocation rules and manage emission factors.
- Govern changes to the footprinting tool (documentation, QA/QC, approvals).
- Support key customer projects with methodology design and technical documentation.
- Answer auditor and client questions on methods, assumptions, and results.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Technical hands-on LCA/PCF experience, ideally in agriculture, food or feed.
- Agricultural systems knowledge (crops, dairy, inputs).
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14040/44, ISO 14067 and at least one major PCF framework.
- Proven experience preparing LCAs/PCFs for external stakeholders
- Practical experience with LCA software (e.g. OpenLCA, SimaPro, GaBi) and databases
Beneficial experience:
- Experience working with verification/validation bodies or registries.
- Exposure to startup or high‑growth environments
