We are seeking an impact orientated Certification Manager to lead, oversee, and ensure the successful certification of carbon farming projects while driving compliance and maximising environmental impact.
The Role
In this role, you will take ownership of validating and verifying regenerative agriculture projects against leading global standards, including ISO 14064-2, Verra VM0042, and Scope 3 frameworks. This is a high impact and pivotal role, ensuring projects not only meet rigorous certification requirements but also achieve maximum environmental impact.

Core responsibilities:
- Manage validation and ex post verification process for soil carbon and scope 3 projects (Verra VM0042, Land Sector Removals Standard and closely related/relevant standards)
- Develop and implement certification strategies and timelines to ensure successful project certification.
- Identify approaches to maximise environmental impact.
- Conduct reviews of project documentation for compliance, and draft or edit certification reporting documents.
- Act as the primary point of contact for certification bodies and auditors.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams throughout the certification process.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Expertise in supply chain solutions/scope 3: including knowledge of the Land Sector Removals Standard, GHG protocols and ISO standards for LCAs and PCFs Strong knowledge of ISO 14040/44, ISO 14067 and at least one major PCF framework.
- Experience in certification management, ideally within carbon insetting/offsetting projects or sustainable agriculture.
- Passionate about environmental sustainability and making a positive impact through carbon farming initiatives.

- Experience with quantitative analysis tools.
