A climate technology company is building the infrastructure that enables credible, scalable climate action through regenerative agriculture and carbon markets.

By combining scientific rigor, data, and commercial innovation, the company helps farmers and enterprise partners measure, reduce, and verify environmental impact while creating trusted pathways to bring high-quality climate outcomes to market.

Working across global value chains and with potential customers beyond the food sector, including finance, insurance, industrials, and consumer industries - the company is building the systems and partnerships needed to accelerate the transition toward more resilient and regenerative supply chains.

We’re looking for a commercially minded partnerships professional who has experience building and scaling partner channels, understands how to navigate complex enterprise buying journeys, and can translate climate solutions into compelling commercial value.

The Role:

This opportunity sits at the intersection of climate, carbon markets, and commercial growth.

You will play a central role in expanding how climate solutions reach enterprise buyers by building and activating a network of strategic partners across marketplaces, intermediaries, advisory channels, and other distribution ecosystems. Rather than focusing solely on direct sales, this role is about creating scalable commercial pathways that unlock long-term growth.

You’ll work across the full partnership lifecycle, from identifying and shaping opportunities through to onboarding, enablement, and ongoing performance, helping partners confidently position and deliver complex climate offerings into new customer segments.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with a structured approach to partnerships, understands how enterprise buying decisions are made, and enjoys translating emerging market opportunities into tangible revenue and measurable impact.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Build and convert a strategic partnership pipeline across marketplaces, intermediaries, brokers, and distribution channels.
  • Create scalable routes to market that generate partner-led revenue and expand access to enterprise buyers.
  • Own partnerships end to end from outreach and commercial structuring through to onboarding, activation, and growth.
  • Develop partner business plans, align go-to-market priorities, and define shared success metrics.
  • Run structured discovery to understand buyer needs, decision-making processes, and commercial drivers across non-food sectors.
  • Equip partners with the tools, messaging, and enablement needed to confidently position climate solutions.
  • Identify new market opportunities and refine partnership strategy using performance data and market insight.
  • Partner closely with commercial, product, certification, finance, and marketing teams to deliver strong outcomes.
  • Stay informed on developments across carbon markets, standards, and climate regulation to strengthen positioning.
  • Represent the business at relevant industry events and grow strategic relationships across the ecosystem.

Skills & Experience:

  • Robust in quota-carrying partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales role with responsibility for closing deals.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling partner channels, marketplaces, or commercial ecosystems.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and influencing across multiple decision makers.
  • Track record of owning the full commercial cycle, including six-figure opportunities and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate complex offerings into clear customer value.
  • Confidence operating with structured sales approaches (MEDDPICC or similar).
  • Experience creating persuasive client-facing materials and working fluently across modern productivity tools.
  • Curiosity for climate markets and an interest in how commercial partnerships accelerate real-world impact.
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
  • Bonus: exposure to carbon markets, voluntary carbon mechanisms, pricing models, or climate-related standards.

Overview:

This opportunity sits at the centre of climate, carbon markets, and commercial growth, where your work directly shapes how climate solutions reach enterprise buyers at scale. You’ll build and activate partnerships across marketplaces, intermediaries, and distribution channels, turning complex carbon offerings into clear, credible value for organisations across finance, insurance, industrials, and other non-food sectors. It’s a high-ownership role in a fast-evolving market, where commercial thinking, structured execution, and strong partner relationships translate directly into measurable revenue and real-world climate impact.
