We are hiring for a fast-growing climate solutions firm focused on carbon credit trading, I-RECs, and energy market advisory. The company enables businesses to achieve net-zero goals through data-driven, measurable impact.


What You’ll Do

As a Trade Manager, you will lead deal execution, manage trading risk, and build scalable trade processes across global carbon and renewable energy certificate markets. You will work closely with origination/sales, finance, legal, and compliance to drive profitable and compliant growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and negotiate OTC trades end-to-end (pricing, contracting, closure)
  • Manage trading book, pricing, margins, and risk strategies
  • Track market trends, regulations, and identify trade opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, legal, and counterparties for seamless execution
  • Ensure compliance, reporting, and smooth settlement processes

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of total experience, with 4–6 years in carbon credits/IRECs/environmental commodities
  • Strong understanding of carbon market mechanisms and environmental commodity trading
  • Proven experience in structuring and negotiating OTC contracts and commercial terms
  • Strong analytical capabilities, market research skills, and comfort with financial modelling
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
