We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to lead and scale Carbon Credits and I-REC operations vertical. This role requires deep domain expertise, proven leadership experience, and a strong operational mindset.


Key Responsibilities ||

  • Take end-to-end ownership of operations across carbon credit and I-REC programs.
  • Lead and mentor the operations team, setting clear goals and enabling strong execution.
  • Collaborate directly with company stakeholders to align strategy, delivery, and reporting.
  • Develop and refine SOPs for project registration, issuance, verification, and retirement.
  • Engage with registries, verifiers, and auditors to ensure compliance and smooth execution.
  • Support sales and sustainability teams with client delivery and operational planning.
  • Stay current on global standards, market trends, and methodology updates.
  • Track KPIs, deliver regular reporting, and identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Contribute to scaling operational infrastructure and systems as the company grows.


Must-Have ||

  • 8–9 years of overall experience, with at least 4–5 years in Carbon Credits, I-REC operations, or Environmental Commodities.
  • Deep understanding of carbon project life cycles, registries (Verra, Gold Standard, I- REC), and reporting protocols.
  • Strong experience managing teams, building operational systems, and delivering client-facing projects.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple workstreams with a solutions-first mindset.
