Job Opening: Journeyman Electrician – Solar Project
Location: Union City, PA
Start Date: October 20, 2025
Pay Rate: $69.81/hour
Per Diem: $120/day (for days worked)
⏱ Hours: 52 hours/week

Project Overview:

Join a dedicated team at a new solar farm in Union City, PA – a ground-up, outdoor installation project. We’re looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician with solar experience to work through the full duration of this project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bending and installing electrical conduit (PVC, EMT, etc.)

  • Wiring panels and performing terminations

  • Installing fixtures and underground electrical systems

  • Working with both low and high voltage systems

  • Using hand tools, power tools, and voltmeters

  • Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics

  • Troubleshooting and ensuring system compliance with safety and electrical codes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a qualified solar electrician

  • Proven ability to bend pipe, pull wire, and perform grid interconnections

  • Familiarity with battery storage systems (a plus)

  • Competence in using testing equipment and interpreting schematics

  • Forklift and trenching equipment experience preferred

  • Candidates living within 1 hour of Union City, PA are strongly encouraged to apply
