Location: Union City, PA
Start Date: October 20, 2025
Pay Rate: $38.86/hour
Per Diem: $120/day (for days worked)
⏱ Hours: 52 hours/week

Project Summary:

We’re hiring motivated Electrical Apprentices to support the full installation of a new solar farm in Union City, PA. This outdoor project involves hands-on experience with a growing solar team from start to finish.

Job Duties:

• Assist with bending and installing electrical conduit

• Support panel wiring, terminations, and fixture installations

• Install underground conduit and support trenching crews

• Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and voltmeters safely and efficiently

• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and assist with troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in an approved apprenticeship program or willing to join the IEC — tuition fully covered for those continuing employment through Talent Corps

• 4+ years of experience in a solar or commercial electrical setting preferred

• Familiarity with pipe bending, wire pulling, and grid connection support

• Solid understanding of electrical systems and safety practices

• Proficiency using voltmeters, hand tools, and power tools

• Forklift and trenching experience is a plus, but not required

• Local candidates (within 1 hour of Union City, PA) strongly preferred
