Electrical Engineering Technician - Night Shift

Electrical Technicians provide support through the assembly of energy cube trays, assembly and disassembly of energy cubes, remediation of charged and discharged energy cubes, and perform initial tray-level testing, ensuring each assembled tray is properly functioning. Technicians are also responsible for inspecting batteries, adhering to our FAT system for testing, installing battery management systems and string boards, reading and understanding drawings and blueprints, troubleshooting issues, energizing and discharging batteries at 1500 volts, and more.
Perform initial testing as outlined by the FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).
Use various hand and power tools correctly and safely to assemble sub-assemblies and products.
Read and understand technical drawings, mechanical and electrical blueprints, and bills of materials.
Inspect subassemblies and/or assemblies for defects using specialized test equipment, measurement devices, and visual inspection. Verify the use of correct materials by inspecting parts and parts lists; identify and correct process and material defects.
Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical issues.
Serve as the point of contact on shift for progress updates to department managers/supervisors.
Monitor data recorders, collect and analyze data, and adjust test parameters.
Demonstrated mechanical skills with proper use of hand and power tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and bills of materials.
Skilled in inspecting and evaluating sub-assemblies and assemblies.
Attention to detail to ensure quality against established standards.
Strong troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electronic systems.

Electrical Technician Associate : No experience required; associate degree in electrical field required; demonstrated mechanical skill with hand and power tools.
Electrical Technician Level I : 2+ years of electrical experience; associate degree in electrical field required; demonstrated mechanical skill with hand and power tools.
Electrical Technician Level II : 5+ years of electrical experience; high-voltage and industrial/manufacturing experience required; journeyman electrician preferred; associate degree in electrical field required; demonstrated mechanical skill with hand and power tools.
