Job Description:

The Utilities Program Manager/Analyst is responsible for the effective oversight, management, and execution of our client's utilities program. This role will be responsible for managing all relationships that impact the success of the utilities program, including utility providers, third-party Utility Bill Management counterparts, strategic industry partners, trade allies, utility service associations, regulatory allies, and additional third-party relationships as needed.

In addition, you will be responsible for developing partnerships with internal stakeholders and field personnel to gain a holistic understanding of store operations and their cost and usage impacts, as well as connecting internally with other departments on programs and initiatives that drive resource efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the third-party Utility Bill Manager operations for all client stores, distribution centers, and regional offices
  • Manages rebates and incentives program, including vendor management and invoicing
  • Completes relevant data analysis and provides insights to the Energy & Sustainability and Operations teams
  • Creates and distributes relevant reports to internal stakeholders
  • Manages and maintains the utilities database
  • Develops and manages relationships with utility vendors
  • Engages with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to Construction, Engineering, Accounting, and Finance teams
  • Completes the new store setup process for all locations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; a focus on utilities or program management preferred
  • 3+ years of experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Excel, Access, VBA, SQL, and Power BI preferred
  • Detail-oriented, including the ability to manage priorities, competing agendas, and workflow on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Previous utility experience preferred
  • Professionalism and excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
