Financial Analyst - Project & Corporate Finance
About Syncarpha
Founded in 2009 and headquartered in New York City, Syncarpha Capital develops, finances, owns, and operates solar and energy storage projects across North America. Our portfolio spans community solar, on-site systems for municipalities, utilities, and businesses, and small utility-scale projects. We partner with experienced developers, EPC contractors, and engineers to take projects from site acquisition and financing through decades of operation.
We are a lean, entrepreneurial team. Analysts here work directly with senior leadership, see their
analysis shape real investment and financing decisions, and are mentored by a management team with deep experience in investment management, project finance, and renewable energy.
The Role
The Financial Analyst sits at the center of how Syncarpha evaluates, finances, and manages its solar and storage portfolio. Working closely with Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Director of Project Finance, you will own key project financial models, support tax equity and debt financings, and work with development/construction teams to help to price and manage new deals. It is a hands-on role with broad exposure across the business, well suited to someone who wants to build deep project finance expertise while seeing how every part of a renewable energy company fits together.

- Evaluate new development and acquisition opportunities, translating PPAs, leases, community solar subscription terms, interconnection costs, and incentive and REC revenue into clear investment forecasts for pricing recommendations.
- Support capital calls, funding requests, and tracking models with investors and financing sources

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analysis to senior leadership and external partners.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
