Product Manager, EV Customer Experience (Amplify)

Role Overview

As the Product Manager for Amplify, you will own the end-to-end customer experience—from “EV-curious” to “confident EV owner.” You’ll drive pilot programs, lead customer research, design user experiences, build product requirements, and ensure seamless delivery across digital and physical touchpoints.

This role is ideal for a customer-obsessed product leader who thrives in fast iteration, cross-functional collaboration, and creating AI-enabled consumer-facing experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all customer-facing pilots and experience initiatives for the Amplify platform.
  • Conduct customer research and continuous feedback loops to validate pain points and inform product direction.
  • Translate insights into product requirements, user stories, wireframes, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and data teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Make decisions rooted in first-hand customer insights—not assumptions or third-party research.
  • Partner with internal technology and operations teams to align on product vision and platform integration.
  • Ensure AI-first product features enhance personalization and engagement.
  • Support commercialization efforts and scale-up once pilots demonstrate success.
  • Build external partnerships with OEMs and industry partners as needed.
  • Map customer data flows and ensure compliance with privacy and security guidelines.
  • Manage digital-to-physical transitions (AI chat, home assessments, contractor dispatch, etc.) to ensure a seamless customer journey.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Design, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of Product Management experience, preferably in B2C digital products.
  • Proven success launching, scaling, and commercializing consumer-facing solutions.
  • Strong background in user research, service design, and customer journey definition.
  • Experience running pilots, working in agile environments, and managing full product lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable interacting directly with customers.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and innovation-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in clean energy, sustainability, EV, mobility, or automotive sectors.
  • Background with AI, machine learning, or data-driven platforms.
  • Experience in regulated industries or enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of customer data architecture and digital platform ecosystems.
  • Experience in program management or commercialization.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated passion for climate tech, electrification, and customer-centered product innovation.
