The Innovation Accelerator applies startup methodologies to ideate, incubate, and accelerate new ventures within the organization.

Amplify is a venture focused on helping customers go electric—creating digital products, services, and partnerships that make the EV transition simpler, faster, and more affordable. From vehicle selection to installation and grid connection, Amplify enhances the customer journey and reduces friction at every step.

About the Role

As Product Manager – Amplify, you’ll own the end-to-end customer journey from “EV-curious” to “confident EV owner.” This includes designing intuitive customer experiences, leading pilots, defining product requirements, and overseeing delivery of customer-facing solutions that accelerate electrification.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, startup-style environment within a major energy organization, collaborating closely with technology, operations, and external partners to deliver high-impact solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a customer-first product experience from concept to scale
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable product deliverables and roadmaps
  • Lead pilots and demonstrations, defining go-to-market strategies and metrics
  • Collaborate with engineering on prototype development and production readiness
  • Evaluate build vs. partner strategies for key product components
  • Build strategic partnerships with automotive OEMs and other stakeholders
  • Define the customer data journey, ensuring compliance with data privacy standards
  • Manage multiple customer touchpoints (AI chat, home assessments, contractor dispatch, etc.) for a unified experience
  • Lead monthly operating reviews with key stakeholders
  • Conduct customer research to refine and enhance product offerings

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in product management, preferably in B2C environments
  • Proven success in launching and scaling consumer service-oriented products
  • Expertise in user experience and service design
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and insights
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with rapid iteration
  • Experience with both digital and analog workflows
  • Willingness to travel to customer and partner sites as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the automotive or EV industry
  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
  • Background in regulated environments
  • Familiarity with customer data architecture and digital platforms
  • Experience leading pilots and customer-facing operations
  • Strong partnership-building and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Passion for clean energy, climate tech, and electrification
  • Understanding of EV adoption and home electrification programs
