About SwitchON Foundation & Greenovation Accelerator
SwitchON Foundation (est. 2008) is a mission-driven organization working to strengthen sustainable agriculture, rural livelihoods, and climate resilience. We partner with Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), climate startups, investors, and institutions to build scalable solutions that create both economic and social impact.
The Greenovation Accelerator is our flagship platform for climate-focused startups, SMEs, FPOs, and FPCs working across agriculture, circularity, clean energy, resilience, and other areas of climate action. Through challenge programs, bootcamps, capacity building, mentorship, market linkages, and connections to capital, Greenovation helps promising organizations strengthen their business foundations and progress toward investment readiness and scale.
Position Overview
The Greenovation Accelerator Co-Lead will lead the end-to-end operational execution, capacity building, and ecosystem coordination for SwitchON’s flagship accelerator programs. Based in Kolkata or Bangalore (Hybrid), this role requires strong program management, field execution, deal flow sourcing, and startup engagement capabilities.
You will work directly with early-stage climate startups, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), NGO partners, mentors, and internal teams to deliver high-impact bootcamps and foster founder communities. This role is highly execution-oriented and suited for an experienced professional who thrives in fast-moving, entrepreneurial, and impact-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
Program Execution & Operations:
- Lead end-to-end operational execution and coordination of accelerator cohorts, challenges, webinars, and ecosystem engagements.
- Develop detailed implementation plans, operational workflows, timelines, and coordination systems for virtual and in-person programs.
- Plan, manage, and execute intensive 3-to-5-day bootcamps, immersive workshops, and pitch days across regional hubs.
- Track milestones, deliverables, participant attendance, and post-program growth trajectories.
Startup, FPO & Ecosystem Deal Flow:
- Drive multi-channel deal flow sourcing to identify high-quality climate tech startups, agri-tech innovators, and FPOs.
- Build long-term relationships with founders, eco-champions, FPOs, and grassroots innovators.
- Conduct regular startup check-ins, field visits, and on-ground ecosystem interactions.
- Handle application screening, due diligence support, eligibility evaluations, and panel logistics.
Capacity Building & Founder Mentorship:
- Design and deliver capacity-building workshops, bootcamps, and structured learning journeys tailored to startup and FPO needs.
- Identify capability gaps across cohorts and onboard relevant mentors, trainers, industry experts, and speakers.
Investment & Startup Readiness Support:
- Connect high-potential startups and FPOs directly with investment teams for catalytic grant and equity funding opportunities.
- Assist founders with startup readiness assessments, data room preparation, and pitch deck refinement.
- Support due diligence processes and investor review sessions.
Community & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Build and nurture a vibrant community network among cohort founders, alumni, mentors, and ecosystem enablers.
- Maintain program dashboards, trackers, and documentation to prepare clear progress updates for leadership and partners.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience managing startup accelerator programs, incubators, or venture-building initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Agriculture, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or related fields (Master’s degree like MBA, MS, or MPP strongly preferred).
- Track Record: Proven ability in executing multi-day bootcamps, cohort capacity building, and deal flow sourcing across urban tech and rural/FPO ventures.
- Operational Drive: Skilled in managing multiple workflows, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously with high discipline.
- Field Readiness: Comfortable with periodic field travel, site visits, and direct engagement with startup founders and rural collectives.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal English communication; fluency in Hindi or regional languages preferred.
Compensation & Perks
- Annual CTC: ₹10.0 – ₹12.0 LPA per annum
- Travel & Logistics: All official travel, accommodation, and event logistics covered as per organizational policy.
- Location: Hybrid (Kolkata / Bangalore)
