This is a contract-based on-site role for an Engineer/Senior Engineer - Purchase located in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing procurement activities, managing supply chain processes, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The selected candidate will ensure timely sourcing and procurement of materials while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams. The role also requires analytical skills to evaluate vendor performance and ensure efficient industrial purchasing operations.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier performance and procurement efficiencies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
- Proficiency in Supply Chain Management and Procurement practices
- Foundational knowledge or experience in Industrial Engineering
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
