Role Description The Vice President of Global Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for leading end-to-end operational strategy and execution across Suzlon Energy Limited’s global footprint. The role involves overseeing daily operations, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence to support production, quality, and customer delivery targets. The VP will provide leadership for global supply chain activities, including planning, sourcing, logistics, and inventory management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost-efficiency. This position includes managing complex, cross-functional projects, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams, and using data-driven insights to improve performance. The VP will also define long-term operational strategies, set KPIs, mentor senior operations leaders, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Operations Management and Operational Excellence, with a track record of leading large, multi-site or global operations.
- Demonstrated ability in Supply Chain Management, including planning, procurement, logistics, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in Strategic Planning and execution, with experience aligning operations with overall business goals.
- Advanced Project Management skills, including managing complex, cross-functional initiatives and delivering results within time and budget.
- Leadership experience in industrial, electrical, or electronic manufacturing environments; renewable energy sector exposure is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with comfort using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills in a multicultural, global context.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, leading distributed teams and fostering collaboration across time zones.
- Relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Engineering, Operations Management) or equivalent professional experience at a senior leadership level.
