Biogas Systems Engineer - Design & Commissioning (Remote)
We are hiring a Biogas Engineer to lead end-to-end implementation of decentralized biogas systems under our climate and circular economy initiatives.
This is a high-ownership, execution-focused role — you will be responsible for taking systems from concept to fully operational on the ground.
What You’ll Do- Lead end-to-end implementation of biogas systems
- (design → procurement → logistics → installation → commissioning)
- Take ownership of project execution timelines and delivery quality
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and on-ground teams to ensure smooth execution
- Oversee procurement and shipping of equipment, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery
- Supervise installation and ensure systems are fully functional and stable post-deployment
- Build and standardize simple, repeatable implementation processes
- Train field operators and local teams to run systems independently
- Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve system performance
- 4–6 years of experience in biogas, waste-to-energy, or related engineering fields
- Proven experience in executing projects on the ground (not just design)
- Strong understanding of real-world implementation challenges
- You take ownership and get things done
- You are comfortable working in field conditions and unstructured environments
- You can manage multiple moving parts — vendors, logistics, installation, people
- You are solution-oriented and don’t get stuck when things don’t go as planned
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to lead implementation independently
- Strong problem-solving mindset under real constraints
