About The Role

We're looking for a Senior Content Strategist to own and drive our content strategy across channels, formats, and funnel stages. You'll set the editorial direction, build the content roadmap, and partner closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Founders to ensure every asset ladders up to brand and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Roadmap
    • Own the end-to-end content strategy across brand, demand generation, sales enablement, and thought leadership.
    • Build and maintain the content roadmap, calendar, and prioritization framework tied to GTM and campaign goals.
    • Define audience segments, messaging pillars, and the content-to-funnel mapping (awareness → consideration → conversion → retention).
    • Establish and steward brand voice, editorial standards, and content governance.
  • Technical & Long-Form Content
    • Lead creation of technical, research-backed content: whitepapers, reports, product explainers, deep-dives, use cases, and solution overviews.
    • Partner with Product and domain experts to translate complex concepts (carbon accounting, carbon markets, climate tech, SaaS workflows) into clear, authoritative narratives.
    • Own accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all technical assets.
  • Marketing Collateral & Sales Enablement
    • Direct the strategy and creation of brochures, pitch decks, product sheets, sales one-pagers, FAQ and comparison docs.
    • Build persona, industry, and use-case-specific content to support Sales and partnerships.
  • Social, Email & Campaign Content
    • Define the social strategy (primarily LinkedIn and B2B platforms) and oversee posts, threads, carousels, and campaign copy.
    • Shape email strategy: nurture sequences, campaign emails, event invites, newsletters, aligned to segments and campaign objectives.
  • Event, Webinar & PR Content
    • Lead content for webinars, conferences, and events: descriptions, invites, landing pages, talking points, session summaries, and follow-ups.
    • Drive PR content in coordination with Marketing leadership: press releases, media notes, quotes, and company statements.
    • Shape scripts and outlines for podcasts, video explainers, and thought-leadership sessions.
  • SEO, Optimization & Performance
    • Set SEO strategy for blogs, landing pages, and long-form assets (keyword strategy, on-page optimization, internal linking, topic clusters).
    • Build a system to refresh, repurpose, and scale existing content across channels.
    • Define content KPIs, track performance (traffic, engagement, conversions, downloads), and turn insights into strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Act as the content point person for Marketing, Product, Sales, and Founders.
    • Write structured briefs, guide writers/agencies, and uphold quality and brand consistency at scale.
    • Manage multiple workstreams and deliver against business timelines.
Requirements

Must-Have

    • 4 plus years relevant experience in content/marketing roles at product-based companies (mandatory).
    • Proven B2B (preferably B2B SaaS) experience with technical/product-led content.
    • Track record of owning content strategy, not just executing deliverables.
    • Startup experience in 0–1 and/or 1–10 stage environments strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to write and strategize for B2B decision-makers (CXOs, sustainability leaders, product/tech stakeholders).
    • Strong portfolio spanning technical/long-form (whitepapers, reports, explainers) and marketing collateral (decks, one-pagers, emailers, social).
    • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling, with a gift for simplifying complex topics.
Education

    • Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or related field.
    • Master's/MBA in Marketing or Communications is a plus (not mandatory).
