Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Lead – Pre-Sales / Inside Sales to support our global sales and marketing efforts. This role will be instrumental in driving outreach, qualifying leads, supporting solution positioning, and enabling sales closures across domestic and international markets. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure a seamless buyer journey and strategic engagement with key stakeholders in the climate and ESG ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Qualification & Outreach:

Engage inbound and outbound leads across email, phone, and digital channels. Qualify prospects based on sustainability goals, regulatory needs, and solution fit.

  • Sales Enablement:

Support the sales team with tailored pitch decks, product walkthroughs, and proposal coordination. Assist in preparing client-specific ESG and carbon market solution briefs.

  • Stakeholder Mapping:

Identify and engage key decision-makers including CSOs, ESG Heads, CFOs, RE Project Owners, Carbon Traders, Brokers, and Compliance Officers across target geographies.

  • International & Domestic Outreach:

Drive outreach campaigns targeting Renewable Energy developers, utilities, carbon credit buyers, and ESG-conscious enterprises in India, Southeast Asia, MENA, and Europe.

  • CRM & Pipeline Management:

Maintain lead hygiene, update CRM (e.g., Zoho CRM / Salesforce), and track engagement metrics to support forecasting and reporting.

  • Collaboration with Marketing:

Align with marketing on campaign execution, lead nurturing, and content strategy. Provide feedback on messaging effectiveness and market response.

  • Pre-Sales Strategy:

Contribute to go-to-market strategies for new product launches, carbon instruments, and I-REC monetization models.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 4–6 years of experience in inside sales, pre-sales, or sales development in SaaS, climate tech, or ESG domains
  • Strong understanding of carbon markets, I-RECs, and ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, CDP, CSRD)
  • Experience engaging with international clients and navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, research, and storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation platforms
  • Passion for sustainability, climate action, and digital innovation
