About The Role – Content Manager

We are looking for a Content Manager to lead our content function and build a world-class content engine that supports:

  • B2B SaaS Marketing
  • Demand Generation
  • Customer Advocacy
  • Account Based Marketing (ABM)

You will work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Leadership to create content that drives awareness, engagement, and pipeline, while positioning Sustainiam as a thought leader in climate tech.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Ownership
  • Own and drive the end-to-end content strategy across the funnel (awareness → consideration → conversion → retention).
  • Define content themes, pillars, and narratives aligned with business goals, product roadmap, and target ICPs.
  • Build and manage the editorial calendar across channels (website, blog, email, social, events, partnerships).
  • B2B SaaS & Product-Led Content
  • Create clear, compelling content for B2B SaaS products – product explainers, feature deep-dives, use cases, and release notes.
  • Work with Product and Sales to convert features into strong value propositions, messaging, and positioning.
  • Develop sales enablement content – pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, ROI stories, comparison sheets.
  • Demand Generation & ABM Support
  • Partner with the Marketing Lead and Demand Gen team to create content for campaigns, nurture journeys, and Account Based Marketing (ABM) plays.
  • Develop targeted content for key accounts, industries, and personas (e.g., sustainability heads, CFOs, procurement, ESG teams).
  • Write high-conversion assets – landing pages, ad copies, email sequences, and webinar/event content.
  • Thought Leadership & Customer Advocacy
  • Lead creation of thought leadership assets – blogs, whitepapers, reports, opinion pieces, and POVs on climate tech, carbon markets, and sustainability.
  • Build Customer Advocacy content – case studies, testimonials, success stories, quotes, and video scripts.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal SMEs to bring expert perspectives into content.
  • Digital, Brand & Multi-Format Content
  • Ensure a consistent, bold, and differentiated brand voice across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee content for website, SEO-driven blogs, email newsletters, social media, and partner channels.
  • Support podcasts, webinars, and events with scripts, talking points, moderator notes, and post-event summaries/recaps.
  • Analytics, SEO & Optimization
  • Use SEO and keyword research to guide topic selection and on-page optimization.
  • Track performance of content (traffic, engagement, leads, influence on pipeline) using analytics tools.
  • Iterate and optimize based on data – refresh, repurpose, and scale what works.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in content and/or marketing roles in product-based companies (mandatory).
  • Mandatory startup experience: experience in 0–1 and/or 1–10 stage startups in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven experience creating and managing content for B2B SaaS products and decision-maker audiences.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing thought leadership, long-form content, product content, and campaign-led assets.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex/technical topics.
  • Experience owning content strategy, editorial calendars, and working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, web analytics, and measuring content performance.
  • Experience collaborating closely with marketing, product, sales, and design teams.
  • Graduate from a top-tier college (mandatory).
  • MBA / Master’s in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Prior exposure to climate tech / sustainability / climate finance is a strong plus but not mandatory.
