Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Manager to lead the development and implementation of our ESG strategy at Superloop in 2026. This is a pivotal role responsible for embedding sustainability at every level of our business, from supply chain to product innovation. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to drive environmental, ethical, and social initiatives, ensuring compliance, transparency, and impact. You will be the driving force behind our efforts to reduce environmental impact, uphold ethical practices, and align with global standards.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with practical execution, working across teams to ensure ESG goals are achieved, tracked, and clearly communicated both internally and externally.
This is a unique opportunity to lead and act as a critical enabler of Superloop’s environmental and sustainability agenda. The primary purpose of this role is to develop the environmental and sustainability strategy, govern the implementation roadmap, monitor progress, evaluate impact, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (including, but not limited to, AASB S1 and AASB S2).

Key Responsibilities
Group Policies and Framework
- Develop and implement group-wide ESG policies.
- Support delivery of SLC’s sustainability programs and targets.
- Assist with responsible sourcing initiatives and supplier ESG policies.
- Refine sustainability initiatives and drive reduced environmental impact (e.g. circularity and waste reduction strategies).
- Define, monitor, and track ESG priorities, KPIs, and performance.
- Develop and embed a group-wide social strategy aligned to Superloop’s ESG framework, values, and regulatory expectations.
- Develop, implement, and oversee a structured community engagement approach aligned to Superloop’s purpose and operating footprint.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support community investment, sponsorships, and partnerships aligned with Superloop’s ESG priorities.
- Support engagement with key external stakeholders, including community organisations, industry bodies, and not-for-profit partners.
- Implement the 2026 ESG plan, tracking milestones, engaging key stakeholders, and facilitating reviews and approvals to ensure successful delivery of sustainability disclosures under new Australian accounting and regulatory standards.
- Collect, analyse, and report sustainability data, including carbon metrics, leveraging existing specialist partners for emissions data determination.
- Partner with teams across SLC to gather data, manage information, and prepare disclosures, ensuring appropriate validation and approvals.
- Work closely with Financial Control and external auditors to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness of sustainability data and disclosures.
- Prepare and distribute sustainability reports, including the annual Sustainability Report and ESG disclosures.
- Collaborate with Marketing on sustainability communications across our three operating segments.
- Support stakeholder engagement, including investors and proxy advisors.
- Partner with Investor Relations and Internal Communications teams to develop and execute effective communication plans following publication of disclosures.
- Support internal engagement, education, and communication on SLC’s sustainability program and performance, partnering with Investor Relations, People & Culture, and Corporate Communications.
- Upskill and educate the internal SLC community on sustainability initiatives.
- Continue developing your technical understanding of climate change and its application to the SLC business, including identifying investments required to achieve benefits within a telecommunications context.
- Experience developing public-facing documents, ideally within an ASX-listed company.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting standards and frameworks such as IFRS, ASRS, ESRS, GRI, and SEC requirements, with a willingness to deepen understanding of the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.
- Exceptional project and program management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively to ensure timely delivery.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and build cross-functional consensus to achieve sustainability goals.
- Strong analytical and data management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, tools, and reporting, with experience embedding sustainability into strategic decision-making.
