As a Financial Analyst , you will play a vital role on SunVest’s Finance team that is an integral part of the business and interacts with and supports every other functional area. Structured Finance
Responsible for financial modeling, analyzing capital structure and project returns, working with third-party financiers including debt and private equity, interacting with key partners including M&A counterparties, interacting with the other parts of the business to fully understand and advance project financing requirements.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Working with the team supporting the CFO of the business, you will be responsible for preparing forecasts and analysis of the business, understanding and analyzing key value drivers, preparing presentations to support executive decision making, working with lenders and equity investors to support corporate financing.
You will be part of a team of financial professionals supporting both Structured Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis. The intention is to provide a well-rounded perspective of the key financial functions of the business in order to prepare for a full-time position within one of these verticals. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Actuarial or related field. Financial: Strong financial acumen and interest in financial analysis and capital markets.
Financial Tools: Familiarity and comfort with Excel, PowerPoint and tools of financial modeling.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset for process improvements.
Project Management: Outstanding organizational and time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
