Position Overview:
As a Communications Specialist, you’ll be responsible for supporting internal communications projects, distributing content, managing workflows and timelines, ensuring the highest quality standards, and helping the team execute on strategic initiatives. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and support the day-to-day management of digital communications tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute internal communication projects and deliverables
- Assist with publishing and distribution of content across a range of channels (intranet, email, SharePoint, etc.)
- Manage workflows, timelines, and project tasks using project management tools
- Conduct quality assurance activities, including proofreading, formatting, fact-checking, and approvals routing
- Maintain and update intranet content and support overall platform administration
- Provide support to communicators and stakeholders regarding processes and best practices
- Assist with content development, including writing, editing, and use of design templates
- Organize and archive communications assets and files
- Support reporting, editorial planning, and meeting preparation
- Help test new features, tools, and channel capabilities
- Ensure governance and consistency across communications platforms
- Perform other communications duties as assigned

- Experience supporting projects, workflows, or coordination activities
- Collaborative work style and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Comfortable with both administrative, coordination, and content-related tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including SharePoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with digital content publishing, CMS, intranet, or website management
- Familiarity with project management or editorial workflow tools
- Proofreading, basic writing, or content editing experience
- Exposure to digital storytelling, internal communications, or marketing
- Experience coordinating communications campaigns or projects
- Familiar with design templates or creative asset management
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience
