Position Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Product Manager to support digital platform and operations product development in the solar energy sector. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, improve process flows, and support the development of customer and internal-facing tools. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytically minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather product requirements and translate them into user stories or feature specifications.
- Support product lifecycle efforts—from discovery and design to testing and deployment.
- Work with engineering, design, and operations to prioritize and deliver enhancements.
- Analyze user feedback and operational data to identify areas of improvement.
- Document product requirements, workflows, and testing results clearly and concisely.
- Assist in developing dashboards, process maps, and performance metrics to track impact.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a product, operations, or project coordination role.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Familiarity with process improvement frameworks or tools.
- Analytical thinker comfortable with basic data tools (Excel, SQL, etc.).
- Experience in energy, solar, or construction-related technology.
- Exposure to tools like JIRA, Figma, Airtable, or Confluence.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Understanding of UI/UX concepts and product testing best practices.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
