Solar lead Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solar Lead Installer to spearhead our residential and commercial installation projects. This role is critical to our growth as we scale operations. The Lead Installer will be responsible for onsite team management, ensuring technical compliance with microinverter and string inverter systems, and maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end installation process for residential and commercial solar systems.
• Technical Execution: Install and configure microinverter and string inverter systems for varied site applications.
• Energy Storage Integration: Lead the installation and commissioning of high-capacity residential and commercial battery storage solutions.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage the deployment of specialized roof mount hardware and ensure proper cable management using PV and THHN wiring.
• Compliance & Permitting: Ensure all installations meet local permitting requirements and coordinate with the design team to finalize site surveys.
• Team Supervision: Guide junior installers, maintain onsite safety, and ensure all hardware components are accounted for using company inventory software.

Detailed Experience Requirements

• Inverter Expertise: Extensive experience installing both microinverters and string inverters in residential and commercial settings.
• Battery Storage: Proven track record of installing and troubleshooting battery systems
• Wiring and Electrical: Deep technical proficiency in AC/DC electrical components, Rapid Shutdown (RSD) devices, and specific experience with PV and THHN cable management.
• Hardware & Racking: Expert-level knowledge of various roof mount hardware systems.
• Site Evaluation: Ability to interpret site surveys and design work to ensure the final build matches engineered plans.
