The Spare Parts Specialist at Sungrow's Training Center is responsible for managing and coordinating all spare-parts activities to support field service operations, vendor partners, and customer maintenance needs. This role ensures accurate part identification, efficient inventory planning, and timely fulfillment while maintaining updated BOM data, preparing components for training sessions, supporting repair-center troubleshooting, and collaborating with engineering, logistics, procurement, and technical support teams to enhance material availability, operational efficiency, and overall service quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage spare-parts inventory levels and ensure accurate stock availability for service operations.
  • Identify correct components by reviewing BOMs, technical drawings, and parts documentation.
  • Process spare-parts orders for internal teams, customers, and service vendors with timely fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams on inbound/outbound shipments and warehouse activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of part usage, stock movements, substitutions, and lifecycle updates.
  • Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to confirm lead times, specifications, and part quality.
  • Prepare spare-parts kits and materials required for Training Center activities and hands-on sessions.
  • Support the Repair Center with component identification, failure analysis, and replacement recommendations.
  • Update and maintain spare-parts documents, lists, and support materials for engineers and partners.
  • Collect feedback from service teams and assist in improving spare-parts planning, quality, and availability.

Education or Desired Licenses and Certificates:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in spare-parts management, inventory operations, supply chain, or technical service environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical or mechanical components used in PV or ESS systems is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOM structures, and engineering documentation.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Broad understanding of warehouse safety and material-handling best practices.

Work Location and Status:

For candidates in the states of California, Colorado, New York and Washington, the anticipated annual base salary for this role is between $75,000 - $95,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The base salary offered is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, location, or other factors related to the role.
